This is a newer version of the original FossOdd model. It was made for a customer named Breene who had previously been riding a Quodd model for a long time. He wanted the same short, wide and skatey type board but with a tad bit more width in the nose for extra paddling and planing speed. The five fin box setup was chosen because it’s apparently the new black. Really, it’s kinda great to have on a board like this because of all the real estate in the tail. There’s a lot of room to play with different setups and you can have a seriously different feeling board by simply switching out the fins. And there are a lot of fin choices these days.
