The Sacred Craft Expo is happening October 13th and 14th. Should be a fun time for checking out all kinds of surf toys. I’ll be there, sharing a booth with Line Up Surfboards.

Continue ReadingThis is how it starts. Handshaped, stringerless, and lightweight EPS cores are covered with handmilled timber (not veneer). The foam gives the board shape and the wood provides the strength. Simple, lightweight, and really strong. It’s commonly known as composite sandwich or ‘compsand’ construction and it has been around for many years, proven in all kinds of conditions.
Continue ReadingThis is from a recent show I had at Shelter Surfshop in Signal Hill. Thanks to Shelter , RT Thomas (movie), Tyler Warren (logos), DJ Neal (music), and everyone who came for making it a great evening. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to leave all the boards at the shop so some of them had to find new homes. The squaretail single with the starfin and Tyler Warren logo went to Thalia St. Surf Shop and the orange and green quad and twinfin to it’s right went to Huntington Surf and Sport.
